7 Worlds Collide - The Sun Came Out

I recommend you click on that album cover above to enlarge it. It's fantastic! 7 Worlds Collide is a project to raise money for Oxfam International led by Neil Finn. It features a whole host of musicians working together.

Th album is a double and will be released August 10th. And as it's for charity, I really suggest you buy it rather than downloading the leak.

The Mountain Goats - The Life of the World to Come

The Mountain Goats are set to release a new album on the 6th of October. Mainman John had the following to say "It's not some heavy-narrative-distance deal either, though, and it's not a screed. It's twelve new songs: twelve hard lessons the Bible taught me, kind of."

Just have a look at that tracklist! I can't wait.

Setlist: Bell x1, Croke Park, 27 July 2009

It's every Irish boy's dream to run out in Croke Park and play in front of 80,000 fans. Maybe not supporting U2, but I'd say that's almost as good. Bell x1 played a nice little set before the Script at last night's U2 gig.

Setlist:
Ribs of A Broken Umbrella
Rocky Took A Lover
Eve (The Apple Of My Eye)
Great Defector
Tongue
Flame

Album News: Howie Day - Sound the Alarm

No idea when this is coming out. Should be this year though. It was delayed from 2008, so surely it must be a 2009 release. Surprisingly, 'She Says' won't be on it - it was on his first two records! And I don't care what you have to say, I still love 'Collide'. Great tune.

1. So Stung
2. Weightless
3. Longest Night
4. 40 Hours
5. Be There
6. Everyone Loves To Love A Lie
7. Undressed
8. Sound The Alarm

If there are any delays tonight, it's totally my fault due to a terrible internet connection. Thanks to bngr for the live setlist update tonight. Three songs in, she notes "There's about 500 people around me sitting as I jump up and down!" Sounds like a good good time!
